"Who Do You Think You Are?" - NBC Show On Discovering Your Ancestry

This is one of the most amazing shows on television right now, its called: "Who Do You Think You Are?" It features today's famous celebrities and takes them on a historical journey back to their ancestral roots. In partnership with Ancestory.com the show has proven to be one of the most riveting and interesting on TV today.

As a first generation Italian American, I find the connection to discovering more about your background totally fascinating and to add there is such historical significance which makes this show all the more compelling. It airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Watch this episode with Susan Sarandon as her journey takes her back to Italy. Amazing.

It's A Wonderful Life--Airing Tonight on NBC, at 8 pm.

You must tune into this amazing movie from the 1940s. Its one of my favorite old movies along with Miracle on 34th St. What's most amazing about this movie, is the fact that the story line is completely relative to our everyday lives and even now, more so with the hard times upon us. There is hope! Hope, faith and LOVE...isn't that what LIFE is all about.

It's A Wonderful Life was produced, written and directed by, Italian-American, Frank Capra.

Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting--New York City 2008.

The 76th Annual Christmas Tree lighting is scheduled for tonight at 7:00 pm at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The telecast is full of celebrity appearances and performances. Our very own Tony Bennett will be there and hopefully singing one of his wonderful songs. The telecast airs on NBC.
